How to create a 3D logo

How to make a 3D logo

1. Vectary is an online platform and it runs in any browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Safari. Simply sign up or log in, and open Vectary Studio.
2. Import the SVG file of your 2D logo. If you don’t have an SVG file, you can convert PNG to SVG with an online converter. You can import it by drag and dropping the file or by importing it through the menu.
3. In the SVG object menu on the right, adjust the properties of your logo. Switch to Geometry tab.
4. By increasing Extrude’s value your object takes on a 3D look, the higher the value, the “thicker” the object.
5. Edit your logo by pressing Enter and convert it to geometry by pressing Bake button, now you can change color, add materials and textures, bend your logo and more.
6. Add lights to the scene and adjust the view.
7. Download a render using the button at the bottom of the scene. With Vectary Pro you can embed your logo as a 3D element on your website, or even see it in Augmented Reality.

Export

To export, click the menu in the top left corner and choose Export. You can choose from a variety of 3D formats: STL and OBJ (used in 3D printing), GLTF (universal 3D format) or DAE (Sketchup and architecture format).

To download a PNG click on Download image” icon at the bottom right of the scene.

Share as interactive 3D in a web viewer

But the easiest way to experience your design is by using the Share feature. Send your design as a link that opens up an interactive 3D viewer on any device, or embed the same viewer directly into an online platform, just like you would a video.
